Angela on the Panel for The future of training: virtual, augmented and mixed reality

SUB 10 co-founder Angela Ross has been invited to be part of the expert panel for an upcoming event hosted by Digital Catapult entitled, The Future of training: virtual, augmented and mixed reality.  It will be held at the emerging technology centre PROTO on Wednesday 27th February, between 09.30 and 13.00.

This event is an exploration of how immersive technologies are transforming training as we know it. You will hear from industry leaders and experience content from innovative VR, AR or MR content creators across the UK.

Virtual, augmented and mixed reality creates the opportunity to transport people into an environment or situation where they are enveloped and engaged at greater depth than previously possible. Immersive has shown to be a powerful tool in increasing memory retention through meaningful learning experiences. Over the last couple of years, VR, AR and MR have been used for training purposes across a range of industries. The event will explore immersive for training applications.

There will be a wide-range of speakers and to bring the opportunities to life, Digital Catapult will also be showcasing six companies creating content that demonstrates the potential of training with immersive.

This event forms part of Digital Catapult’s Future of Training showcase running from November 2018 to March 2019.

Angela will form part of an expert panel taking part of a discussion about The future of training: virtual, augmented and mixed reality.
